Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
This policy explains how the Snapper app for iPhone ("Snapper", "the app"), made by Your Name or Company ("we", "us"), handles information.
Camera
Snapper uses the camera only while you are using the app, to show the live preview through the selected look and to take photos. Images are processed entirely on your device. Nothing from the camera is sent to us or to anyone else.
Your photos
- Photos you take are kept in Snapper's private storage on your iPhone so you can change their look later. They are removed when you delete them in the app or delete the app.
- If you allow it, Snapper adds photos to your photo library. This uses Apple's "add only" permission: Snapper can save new photos but cannot see or read the photos already in your library.
- When you share a photo, it goes only where you send it, through Apple's share sheet.
- Your device's backups (such as iCloud Backup) may include Snapper's stored photos, as with any app's data. That is handled by Apple under your Apple account settings.
- If you make a Snapper Library backup, it is one file containing your photos, their edits and your presets. Snapper creates it on your iPhone and it goes only where you save or send it (for example Files, iCloud Drive or AirDrop). Restoring reads it on your iPhone.
- Photos you import may record where they were taken. Export Options lets you keep or leave out that location in the copies you save or share; Snapper itself never reads or uses your location.
Purchases
Snapper Premium subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive your name, payment details or address. The app checks your purchases on your device using Apple's StoreKit. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
None. Snapper contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software, and does not use your location. Your preferences (such as favorite looks) are stored only on your device.
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, do not share it, and delete it once it is no longer needed to help you.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone, because we do not have any.
Children
Snapper is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your choices
- Camera and Photos access can be turned on or off at any time in the iPhone Settings app under Snapper.
- Delete photos in the app's review screen, or delete the app to remove everything it stored.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
